Just following on from @CJohns. Saw Reid this morning and he looked devastated as if he got some really bad news. A few of the boys got around him. Chat about long term view rather than a shot term fix was heard by a few training watches.
Like @CJohns I don’t have any details on the injury but at a guess it could be stress fracture related. He was walking around fine without any limp.
Poor bloke just wants a fair run at it. Fingers crossed it isn’t too long for him

He had back stress fractures in ‘21 didn’t he? Reading the tea leaves it must be a reoccurrence.

How much running and skills work can you do with back stress fractures? Is it a full stop or just avoid contact and weights?

Recruiting of talls - we must now consider the frames of these guys - if we haven’t already ……it’s happening way too often. Cox, Jones, Reid have all lost 1-2 .5 years of development because of injuries……it keeps happening over and over and over ……even back to Gumby ….medical, fitness and conditioning staff need a clean out and I can’t believe these guys weren’t shown the door after the review

Need to do a better job of developing suitable programs for the young key position players- Seems that they’re injured far too often

Sucks for Reidy, would expect a very conservative build up for him again.
We might end up with another available list spot now, could take 2 x SSP rookies.
With Reid down, Stewart still with foot issues & Hayes won’t be anywhere near it early on we will be looking light on for key backs.
Cox might have already been getting sent into defence so he’ll be one in the mix
