Any whispers on who we will be playing in the first practice match and what date? The unofficial one.
Carlton was it in 2021.
I assume it will be the week before the official game against st kilda.

Playing the Bulldogs. Youād think it would be 25th-27th a week before our official AAMI Community Series match vs St Kilda on March 5.
Was tex and Fejo the only train on players invited to this camp?
Donāt get me wrong, Iāve been to plenty of team building days which were a complete waste of time and totally counterproductive to the whole point of them so I do hear what youāre saying.
I still think thereās a place for them, if done well. A bit like Friday night drinks. Some people build a much better connection with their workmates relaxing over a few beers than they ever do in a workplace setting.
You can almost fill in the blanks with the same word.
Yup, exactly, you know why? because the average joe absolutely hates his job and alcohol is the only way to make it tolerable.
Taking some time away from a busy training schedule to spend time alone with your team mates who you have genuine relationships with is completely different to forced white collar āteam buildingā hoorah
If I ran a team building camp, most of the exercises would involve testicle cupping.
Takes real balls to run something like that.
There is no GF in team.
I donāt mind a two day camp in the middle of 3 - 4 months of gruelling, physical training. A break of routine is needed to stop players from going stale. They get to see other sides of each other, sides that are valuable and might otherwise remain hidden in the grind of repetition. It doesnāt matter if it is a football team or any other sort of group, such occasional breaks are necessary, and beneficial.
I used to know a bunch of people who played kayak polo on the marybirnong
Probably play the dogs @ the Whitten Oval, Bloody AFL always screwing us over ffs.
Especially when theyāre still (football) training as per their weekly schedule.
I will say poor Francis was getting called Bairstow by his team mates on Saturday lol
Did he make a heroic performance that covered up for slack performances by the rest of the team?
Harry Jones looking ok in this club photo, flexibility looks fine in his leg. Hopefully heās dodged a bullet. He was walking very awkwardly after the training incident Saturday.
Judging by this photo of Harry Jones kayaking across a body of water, he has obviously seriously injured his leg. Uninjured, heād be walking on water. So, obviously a precautionary fall back position.
May or may not be true that he later calmed the waters and then fed the whole team and the trainers by the side of the lake starting out with just two sardines and a slice of bread.

Sounds like a difficult camp
As I said previously, the team is still training per their usual Preseason scheduleā¦. And then doing other camp activities afterwards.
Not sure why itās bad theyāre at camp having fun & doing team building activities.
Your own or someone elseās ?
Hmmm blindfolds hey.
Canāt see anything going wrong here.
