Training Report 24.11.2023

Read the book…and watch the series.

They’re two different beasts.

Maybe. I think McKay is probably a lock. Laverde, Reid, Baldwin, Hayes, competing for maybe 1 or 2 spots. Ridley, Redman, McGrath likely locks as well. Think Heppell is on fringe as well.

Alternatively, they may try Reid forward.

The books are way better.

Depends on the book.

I was talking about the WOT books but imo it’s a pretty general rule that books are usually better than movies/TV shows.

I agree, but I hardly read anymore.

I can, at least for the short term. Reid has a long way to go to prove that he is best 22, as does Baldwin, who l think is more likely to compete for a spot in defence with Laverde. Baldwin is a robust type, and is a far better kick than Laverde who has struggled over the last two seasons.

How about Alwyn Davey? Has he bulked up at all and is he looking fitter in terms of endurance?

Not a terrible time to be staked for young key defenders

Exactly my reaction…BBM!

Put the book down and back away slowly before you start pulling your braid, folding your arms under your breasts and smoothing your skirts as a matter of habit!!!

He and Hobbs are nearly as tall as the hanger!

Orange strip. Argh.
Looking too much like Dutchmen, or worsestill that team from the ■■■■ part of Sydney

He looked in good nick at training. Hard to say about endurance, but he didn’t seem to be lagging in anything.

There must have been a setback of some type. There is no world where over 20 months after you have done an ACL you are back to square one fitness wise and not being trusted to run flat out.

Any Ben McKay vs Peter Wright vision?

Anyone from the mids really sticking out?

Would love a Setterfield update if you can manage

Thanks for all the efforts so far!

I’m thinking to bail on the show and start on the books.
