Or maybe he had a setback that wasn’t necessarily knee related. Plenty of knee patients do hammies or the like on the way back. We really have no idea what has been happening.
Of course we might say that the club should do better coms, because in the absence of comms this is what happens. (And there is zero negative about actually providing information to the fans)

Our small forward brigade is not in a good place rolling in to 2024 imo, would love to see Caldwell embrace a deep forward role for next year and see what happens from there, I wouldn’t waiting around for Jayden and Tex to make an impact next season.

After Gresham and Menzie, it falls away a bit, especially with jDavey and Tex having interrupted pre seasons. Hopefully at least one of them comes on.
Don’t mind Caldwell and Hobbs rotating through there. Hind is also an option.

Wouldnt have surprised me(pure absolute speculation mind you) that the delay in Alwyn nominating father son was a bit of a condition on us taking Jayden despite his medical being very bad.
I hope he comes on.

A bit ?? It’s no fluke that the best teams have focused heavily on this area and it shows that Dodoro is once again behind the kerb in terms of balancing a list.

I think the two most important things in finals are big bodies around the contest and small forward inside 50 pressure. We are severely lacking in both those areas.

I agree, we seen the impact that Setterfield had on the midfield group before he was injured, our midfield balance looked as good as it had done in years, not sure Dodoro actually gets the importance of a genuine BBM.
And no, Hobbs isn’t one.

Agree, people have either forgotten or dismissed them.
It’s not that bad. Gresham, Menzie, Guelfi with Caldwell and Davey Jnr. We will play with Wright, Jones, Langford and Perkins in the forwardline. That’s nine for essentially 8 spots. Not sure what’s up with Jayden but it’s hardly a crisis.
