A lot is said about the incredibly fast reaction times of these players, except when it suits them to make out it is slow, and they didn’t have enough time to avoid the collision.

Think Sam Reid has got a big problem despite the Fox Footy commentator’s ‘nothing to see here advocacy’. Fyfe was nowhere near the ball and the outcome was not a good look.

The sling tackle?

you are joking, what about Blakey?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
Yet Sydney get a holding the ball for theirs
Gotta love the afl

Tap on the bum and a pay rise

so one dropped his shoulder and charged the player, and the other seemed to take some effort not to hurt the player he was tackling. What a disgrace.

I’d be happy for one of our blokes to do that to Neale next week and “test” out his sore back.
Neither incident worthy of a match and Langford shouldn’t have been fined

Caleb Daniel out for a week for a dangerous tackle on Berry. Careless, high contact, medium impact. Medium, despite the fact that Berry got up almost immediately, took the free kick, and played out the rest of the game.

The fact that this gets called medium impact when there are other incidents resulting in concussion that also get called medium is ridiculous.

Havent been paying attention today. Any AFL mention of the Heeney strike on Zerk ?

Not that I’ve seen.

Incidents from our game were done and dusted already. Heeney not cited

Heeney punches Zerk-T so hard he breaks his hand! Nothing! Good thing he didn’t punch Silvagni,he would have been shot at dawn!

I think you are all missing the point here, Zerk dodged a bullet. He lowered his obviously magnificently strong boney head into the path of poor Heeney’s chicken bone fist and broke it.

Very similar to Zerrett’s innocuous blow to Silvagni’s ribs causing a fracture

Lucky he didn’t get weeks for putting a high ranking player, from a protected species of a team, out of the game for several weeks because of his carelessness.

Just as well they had a sub to cover this unfair loss of a player before half time, it could have cost them the match…

Paddy McCartin lost the plot in the VFL. In an incident way way off the ball, Paddy launched a massive roundhouse to the head as retaliation for a push. Worse than the Gaff incident, but maybe not with the same level of injury to the victim. I think he will be gone for at least a month for that one.

Made the guy stagger then collapse and a swollen jaw. He will get longer than a month. Deliberate punch the face.
