Whilst we wait for the next series of Slow Horses .. could I suggest maybe do yourselves a favour and revisit some of Gary Oldmanâs early films and roles.
4 just had The Firm on again. Seen it a few times but its an Alan Clarke special. He was a brilliant filmmaker back in the day and left us far too soon. Oldman was and stiÄșl is a great actor, and btw Phil Davis and Lesley Manville too, who are excellent in that biopic of English Hooliganism and what it meant .. footbaÄșl was a sideshow basically. I myself saw it up close a few times

Canât wait for Slow Horses. Apparently it was totally snubbed at the Emmy awards the other night.. me say wtaf. But Iâm biased.

And thatâs the issue with so many programs these days.
That and the fact networks cancel shows after one season but then show left wide open.
Makes you not want to put the effort into watching them.

Black Rabbit, Jude Law, Jason Bateman, and a chick with the worldâs largest forehead.
Chaotic from start to finish, with Bateman playing a classic âjust canât get a winâ character, amongst a list of characters that are all, in one way or another, absolute pieces of â â â â .
The dynamic between Law and Bateman is brilliant, the plot is very sound and the execution gritty and realistic.
Bateman essentially plays variation the same character in everything, but bloody hell he does a good job of it.

The team task in the latest taskmaster episode is an all timer. Brilliant idea for a task and absolute insanity when the teams were doing it

Agree with Dingus re Black Rabbit being much better than average. For the keen-eyed watch out for the various top notch directors who lend Bateman a hand, including Australian Justin Kurzel (Snowtown, Nitram, Kelly Gang etc).

Chad Powers could be a chance for funniest show of the year, too early to tell. Plenty of giggles in the 2nd episode. Waterboy meets Ted Lasso.
