Yes we do, but it should be noted that the last episode was a significant departure from the equivalent part in the game, both in tone and events.
Fantastic episode, I’m excited for what’s to come

I’ve started watching The Sopranos for the first time, I’m not quite into it after 4 episodes. Is it worth persisting with?
Definitely.
eh, if the first half of season 1 doesn’t get you, not worth persisting.
Season 1 has a completely different tone to the remainder. I don’t think any show is worth “persisting with”, why waste 8 hours of your life on something you don’t enjoy? I’d recommend to stop watching if you don’t like it.
If the theme song isn’t a hook than walk away.
Abso… as in absobloodylutely.
One of the most compelling TV series l have ever seen.
Then again l haven’t seen any series since GOT, so make of that what you will.
Just needed something light before hitting the fart sack, and watched the first episode of Cunk on Earth, starring Diane Morgan (After Life, Frayed). The bloodnut with the strong Manchester accent.
Think Norman Gunston asking experts ridiculous dumb questions like asking a specialist on ancient Greece that, if the early Olympics were performed in the buff, wouldn’t the audience be able to see right up their bumholes.
All these legit academics are sitting there going WTF but trying to answer the questions seriously.
I’ll have to watch episode 2 to see if it’s a one trick pony.
Yeah it’s pretty good. Some of her descriptions of historical events are very funny. Some of the academics seem uncomfortable but a couple of others seem to join in on the jokes. The philosophy guy is a real stiff but always entertains her ludicrous perspective.
Darkages
‘why are pyramids that shape? was it to stop homeless people from sleeping on them?’
I liked the “what shape is a pyramid”? Question
The scene in the first episode involving her setting up the academic to humiliate her (the ‘dance while noone’s watching’ scene) is an amazing piece of comedy. I haven’t laughed so much in ages.
Diane Morgan is a superstar. For anyone who wants more, there was a BBC series called Cunk on Britain a few years back which is just as good.
I’ve seen a bit of her older Cunk stuff and thought this but I’m on ep 5 now and finding it consistently stupid and funny in a good way. Recognising her obsessions and interests as it goes along, like being able to communicate with people from the past and the evolutionary distinction between arms and legs, is gold. I think it’s ep4 with an American bloke who actually seems a bit angry but plays well, the exchange about whether bears have arms or legs is hilarious. He inadvertently out-Cunks her.
I started on an Amazon series Three Pines, set in Quebec, with Alfred Molina (An Education, inter al) as a policeman who is implored to investigate the disappearance of First Nations girls.
And two episodes into a Mexican rom-com De Brutas, Nada, set in a very swish part of Mexico City where Cristina catches her fiancé in the act shortly before the wedding and gives him the Tijuana. That leaves her short someone to pay half the rent, and she happens on Alejandro in a bar, who all her friends assume he’s gay…spoiler…he’s not. He’s struggling when she has him restarting the boiler in the bathroom while she’s in the shower. He sees all, we don’t.
There are 3 series and I started watching just to see how people live in Mexico City (El Juego de Llaves and Dark Desire tell me there are very flash parts). The Mexico City of Roma it ain’t.
And up to date with the Brokenwood Mysteries, the quirky Kiwi police procedural.
And now 4 episodes into Woman of the Dead (Die Totenfrau) with an undertaker in the Austrian mountains trying to find out who murdered her policeman husband.
We were the same! Such a clever setup…destroy her confidence or lie…which one will the expert choose???
Warfare expert guy was sensational
Just watched the first season and a half of Goliath on Amazon Prime. I like it.
Episode 4 of The Last of Us:
As someone who doesn’t hear well on my right side, I really appreciated the sleep-on-your-bad-ear bit. It makes a huge difference (obviously I sleep on my good ear instead). I assume he snores if he sleeps on his back to allow both ears to listen, and that’s a net loss.
EDIT: and then they completely ruin it by having him flip while sleeping. I never do that. I didn’t even flip when I briefly had to sleep on my right ear due to the melanoma on the left.
Just watched ep 1 of Cunk On Earth and it’s very good like many have said here, real laugh out loud stuff, she catches you off guard with some great lines and the interview parts are brilliant, in an Ali G vein but much more about making herself look stupid.
