Trump is 100% about his own ego. He’d never resign, just as he’d never do a Biden and drop out.

I think Ford got appointed as VP replacement for Agnew by a Presidential nomination and no objection by Congress.

Interestingly, you can appoint/elect a VP who is NOT eligible to become President (the VP age limit is 5 years fewer than required to be President).
(Vance will have reached 40yo by 2025 inauguration day.)
Both requirements are 35yo.
I thought President required 40yo.

Trump gets a lot of free hits for his “entertainment value” and most of the MSM do not critically appraise anything that he says and they don’t report on his word salads as that is just Trump being Trump.
Of course they apply the same logic to both sides and act and report accordingly. 
That whole bum sniffer thing has a Jimmy Saville / Rapey thing about it.
And think they are trying to attract young males to counter the potential young female vote from Kamala / Swift.
