DRC signed a critical minerals deal with the US a few days ago in return for military assistance to deal with the Rwandan M23 rebels that have been waging war for years.
KoBold Metals (owned by Bezos/Gates), Rio Tinto and others are in discussions with DRC / US / AVZ to take over tenants.
