The industry has returned to work, but it’s far from business as usual for small suppliers to luxury brands and retailers.
Lol. I bet he doesn’t defecate either.
In a recent Fed survey, nine in 10 newly unemployed people said that their employers told them they would eventually return to work.
But if businesses begin to close, it could turn many temporary layoffs permanent — and at the Fed and among labor economists, that is seen as the most likely scenario.

The headline should have been “official deaths”. The NYT itself had a report earlier this month showing that unofficial deaths are 40% higher. And that was before the red states officially began under-reporting.
There’s no way he doesn’t have a monkey placing his ball somewhere advantageous after each shot. The turd doesn’t even wait to see where it lands, then walks off on his playing partners before they even tee up. That’s all you need to know about the character
Why would he wait to see where it landed? It was obviously a hole in one.
An update on Donnies handicap ? He has many more than one.

As parts of the US have lifted shutdown orders during the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s been a fierce argument online about the risks and benefits of reopening. New research suggests that bots have been dominating that debate.
It’s a pretty sobering front page, isn’t it? You’d have to say a bit of a political statement too.
Yes, there’s a group who have been putting together “average national fatality” rates for various countries and iirc, both the US and UK are tens of thousands of deaths above the “usual” monthly figures , even with the official Covid deaths added. No idea how accurate their figures are, but they’re sobering calculations if true.
I made a mistake, it wasn’t NYT but the Washington Post who did the study.
You may have missed my post about this but it is there in the Covid facts thread:
Over the last couple of weeks, the US is getting about the same number of cases (over 20,000/day) but the official number of deaths has declined. Many think this is because covid deaths are not being recorded.
As Trump says, if you don’t test you don’t have cases.
The Washington post investigated this and estimated that official figures are probably underestimating actual covid deaths by 40%.
But this was a couple of weeks ago, so the unofficial death rate is probably much higher now.

Corruption is destroying rural America.
Interesting twist re Biden’s accuser:
A lawyer who represented Tara Reade, the woman who has accused Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993, announced Friday that Reade is no longer his firm's client.
The news came as California defense attorneys and a district attorney’s office said they are reviewing past criminal cases in which Reade testified as an expert witness, following a CNN report that questioned her education credentials.

Great stuff. I look forward to his report on Rupert Murdoch’s undue political influence.
It’s disturbing I’m agreeing with Tucker.
Great stuff.
I either woke up in Bizarro World or I’m having flashbacks, … Did Fcker Carlscum just put a Massive Boot into the Regugnantin Party and their Senators??
Has he had a sudden crisis of conscience?
Everything is upside down & makes no sense.
I think I need a Bonox & a good lie down for a bit.
Looked like a bit of a hit job on Ben Sasse (one the few Republican senators who has sometimes pretended to stand up to Trump) but I agree it is definitely surprising. I would love to see Tucker do a similar “expose” on Kelly Loeffler (you know, the Republican senator who very conveniently sold stock along with some of her senate colleagues)…
Wow, … that’s cutting.
