BREAK THE CHAIN!

I can’t bring myself to believe this. I saw an article headline, it must be a typo/mistake. No way is this real.

Like many, I suspect, I mixed up the Rod Marsh news with this. Just nuts. RIP

We see deaths reported of stars, singers and sportsman we know. But, this one more than the others shocks and hurts the most.
It’s not like he was retired from working and out of sight.
He was still so fresh in our lives.

It was Twitter trend number 4 in the US this morning. Global impact.

This is sh*tty news to wake up to.

He was the best bowler I ever saw, no competition. He was like a chess master, used to set up dismissals three or four overs in advance.

He lived like a rock star off field, too.

RIP Warnie. You lived an incredible life, but 52 is WAY too young.

Damn.

Still in utter shock. One of the true greats and lived life to its fullest. Crammed a hell of a lot into those 52 years.
Such a sad 24hrs

Just stunned. In shock really.

My love of cricket was born from Warnie.

Never have truer words been spoken.

RIP Warnie, I only just read the news. I was very lucky to once have a very brief witty encounter with the great man. A very sad week for Aussie cricket.

He was my age. Waiting for my wife and daughter to wake up and give them a big hug and tell them I love them. Who knows what can happen next minute.
