I liked Jorgensen, but if our AFL alls were fit we shouldnt need him.

losing fitzgerald, Conforti and cootee will hurt.

Except we got Visentini.

Who Nino wasn’t happy about

The first two i agree will be a loss but not the last. But that’s just my opinion.

What happened to the Training thread? On today isn’t it?
Didn’t know where else to post.

I tried to make one before, but couldn’t for some reason.

I’ll try again when I get home.

@THE_DON1 what’s your thoughts on gws prospect Charlie McCormack as a possible vfl signing or SSP

Not sure, I’m not really interested in anyone for an SSP selection right now I’d want to see some good form and look in the MSD. Maybe a good option for VFL

Outside of nice Martin, Our strike rate seems better in the MSD

At this stage we can cover for Hunter internally anyway, no use finding cover for someone who isn’t even established in the senior side. Say someone like Bryan/Goldstein/Bryan had a long term injury would be smart to grab a ruck in the MSD and even better if there is a trade period brought in to get an AFL caliber ruck to bring in.

Agree but, wouldn’t that open up another MSD pick if we lost Bryan or Goldy to a long term injury.
We should be looking at a ex footballer/basketballer, to add to ruck spots as a cat B alternaltive talent.

These type of picks take resources away from the football department e.g development coaches spend more hours on these picks then the more talented kids. I’d rather focus on the youth we have and develop them, once we are a mature group and need less development overall then we can go for these picks IMO.

I was thinking more like we get someone like Archie Smith after he has had 3 years in NBL.
or someone who played AFL under 18 champs left afl focused on basketball and now is 22 and developed. I.e not learning the game from scratch.

AFL player switches codes to play NBL1
