I suspect this may be right. Adelaide desperately need a BBM and he wasn’t getting a game.
If you asked @aceman he wanted to stay home with mum.
But like Fantasia when footy is your career, your happy to move interstate and maybe his best chance is playing in the VFL, where seen by a number of clubs, including playing for 1 that is lacking in the BBM division.

That’s two ins now that will be playing for a second chance at an AFL career, at 23. That’s the kind of incentive that should make the VFL team even more interesting to watch.

I forgot about the whole song and dance with him about needing to get back to Adelaide which was basically forecast the moment he was drafted interstate.
He’s obviously weaned off mumma’s teat finally.
He’ll be a great addition.
We’re gonna have a bigger sized midfield group in the VFL, than the AFL.
If this is how Rosa re-builds a squad…… I’m on board.
Get him into that AFL role already.

Zero issues with giving them opportunities and game time…. But the point of a strong VFL list, means that we aren’t expecting young players to carry the team.

His good reputation pre-draft must have had something behind it. If he can find it again, it’ll be a good pickup…until someone grabs him in the MSD.
100%, you wonder even if they’d hold over the rookie spot on draft day and look at him as a DFA pre-season selection
