Welcome to Essendon - Sam Michael

Nope, sorry, has two first names. Not to be trusted. Dodoro pls

Be worse if it was Micheal Sam.

Because of the incorrect spelling?

Lol.

Nope, sorry, has two first names. Not to be trusted. Dodoro pls

Are you suggesting that after all the work he did to get pick 5, Dodoro just wasted it on someone untrustworthy with two first names in Aaron Francis?

Good pickup Welcome to EFC George!

So we got George Michael.

That’s interesting…

I’m never gonna dance again.
Did you know guilty feet have got rhythm?

Err… that’ll do. Sure.

Be great if he is even better than the last Michael we got from Brisbane.

Is his nickname ‘Smithy’ like Joel Corey because he has no surname.

Welcome to the bombers Sam Sam Sam he's our man....he can do it!

I hope this season will not be remembered as “The 4 Ruckmen of the Apocalypse”

Its really good to hear how “excited” Sam is to be playing at the Essendon Football club.
He is one of the top ups that may have future in footy (22 yoa) , so I expect him to produce the very best he can to re-ignite his future. Is potentially a KPP. Maybe another Smack ?

From his Brisbane Lions profile

Sam Michael is a power forward, an occasional hard-working defender, who can also provide some relief in the ruck. He is very strong overhead and super competitive. He was an AIS/AFL Academy graduate and represented Queensland U18s in both 2010 and 2011.

It’s interesting that he is merely spoken of as a relief ruckman there yet we have stated he has been selected as a ruckman.

Good that he has all round versatility anyway. And at 22 has a lot to offer still given kpp taking their time to hit their straps.

I count 5. Unless Bellcho wins on appeal.

Jobe was spoken of as a 194cm forward early in his career.

That was before he shrunk into a 191 midfielder though.
