Yeah, I like the look of Weller too. Would he still be available at pick 16/19?

Most phantom drafts have him 7-15 for what that's worth.

No chance.
We need pick 12 at the latest to ■■■■■■ him.
Has a lot of the Heppell's about him in my opinion in reference to pre-draft. Easily in the top 3 for talent and yet isn't touted as highly as some of the other players.
Would be a steal.
Grundy was touted as top 5 but ended up slipping to pick 18. You can't really say that we have 'no chance'. A lot of things change and you never know what happens come Draft day.No chance.Yeah, I like the look of Weller too. Would he still be available at pick 16/19?

I will stand by what I said.
No chance.
Are you still involved at a TAC setup rodent?
Could call it semi retired HAP
When was that taken? The Big Lazy looks like he's on an ok wicket going by that.
I reckon we need 5+ picks to get the list balance right.
Assuming Ryder goes we need 2 rucks (while having one on the rookie list, which I assume will be Thurlow)
We also need probably a couple of Kp players. (maybe one of the rucks is also Kp?)
And we need another inside mid, and some pace and a dynamic small goalkicker.
All of that would be a significant change, especially considering there’s not a lot of guys who are obviously moving on.
Depending on the Ryder deal perhaps we bring in a KP that way (Shaw or butcher), and get left with draft picks (say… Approx) 16, 20, 46, 64, 82
16. Midfielder
20. Cockatoo
46. Tagliabue
64. KP
82. Baulderstone
Rookie
Tippa
B. Rioli
Inside Mid
KP
Long
Hmm, too many obviously, I can’t seem to make it work.
I think a lot depends on how the club rates Hams, Browne, NOB and Kav. If they think we have the future inside mids to support Heppell & Myers, maybe we skip that this year. We are going to need to replace Watson sooner or later though.
Agreed on the 2 x rucks + KP though, with another of each on the rookie list. Gregory and Steinberg is not sufficient KP depth.
Only 1 more senior list ruck and 1 rookie listed ruck for mine (that’d give us 4 total - Ryder out, Thurlow rookie list). Unless there’s a decent/semi-decent fwd/ruck in the offing, then I’d happily add another. Teams are rarely playing 2 outright rucks in the same game, can’t see us needing 5 on the list.
Is Thurlow worth giving another year as a rookie? Seems to me he was either injured or did bugger all. Plenty more ruckmen that we could pick up later in the draft or even in the rookie draft.
Can’t help re: Thurlow, I saw next to no vfl. Just assuming he’d be kept for a second year.
Getting to peeto level creepy wob.
Humble Minion, What's your thoughts on Connor Blakely and Ryan Lim?

Maybe Hardy might get us an early third rounder to add to that. Like your thinking though, 16 & 20 will get us some good midfield talent and it seems like a few ruck men might be looking to move, maybe late third round for Lowden.

If we delisted Thurlow, would Baulderstone be available in rookie draft?
I had a dream that the Swans drafted Baulderstone before us in the Rookie draft.
No, It was not a sexy dream.

I'm not the person to ask this year, I'm afraid! Seen very little of the u18s. Dunlop might be better-informed about these blokes than I am.
why does this thread even exist? i have given the list of who we should draft

I think we need 2 main list rucks and a rookie list ruck (at least)
Regardless, you can cut rookies at the list lodgement date after the main draft. So we could keep him around, and if we get Tag & Baulderstone with our last 2 picks we chop Thurlow.
We've done that sort of thing before IIRC.
